Banana plug Airloc Metal 4mm (high level) brand QED. Airloc is QED's award-winning speaker cable termination method. Airloc ™ is a form of cold welding system that can be used to permanently connect QED forte ™ banana plugs or plates to the full range of speaker cables. By using a cold weld type termination, Airloc ™ plugs crush the leads and plugs to improve the contact area and reduce the resistance. As it has been removed from the seal, there will be no oxidation of the contact surfaces, so low strength will remain throughout the life of the cable. Pendant Cold welding, cable and plug become a single piece of solid metal. These banana plugs accept a cable section between 0.75 and 5.5 mm².
