CDP-9: CD player, USB DAC 32/384, preamp. With its ARM LPC2103F chip, the CD player reads, writes and conrols error correction. The converter allows the conversion of digital inputs, including the CD player. Volume control is achieved through a single, advanced switching resistor.

The CDP-9 has a CD player that supports CD-DA, CD-R, and CD-RW with an algorithm to reduce digital interference and jitter.

The conversion on the CDP-9 is performed by up-sampling in mega-hertz before conversion to the targeted sampling rate with ultra-low jitter and distortion.

The amplification is done in a very controlled way since the volume control has 99 not very accurate 0.5 dB, the headphone output uses a high performance operational amplifier, offering a fast rise time for a very low harmonic distortion.

Note that the driver software is available for Windows but also for Mac.
